I’m a non-tradi…

I’m a non-traditional student which means I know what life is like after high school and college, but I’m back on in the classroom. I’ve been spoiled with adequate sleep and nutritious food, and now I’m living in the land of late-night study and Ramen noodles. Doritos and Hostess are not going to fuel my mind and keep the returning-student-15 off my relatively sedentary self. It’s a priority and a struggle, and I see the losing battle of my classmates everyday. I decided to share my ideas here in hopes that a fellow student, teacher, cube-dweller or whoever will benefit….and hopefully share some tricks with me 🙂

  1. Thank goodness for someone willing to share and start a conversation about the student’t diet plight! This is a constant struggle for me as well. I work hard, play hard, and love to take care of my body, but finding time to eat right on a tight schedule and even tighter budget seems impossible. Thank you EATING IN CLASS! I can hardly wait to learn some tips!

    • I am retired but living with a student who is working, attending class, and writing her dissertation? I am cooking and cleaning the apartment and struggling with ways and means of filling her backpack with “good” food! Thanks for the tips. I will send along what I have – when I get a break. We need to stick together and share our ideas. Thanks again!
